Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a firmware engineer to grow embedded skills on hardware shipped to the field. You’ll write real-time microcontroller code, build reusable drivers for sensors and peripherals, and debug the cross-disciplinary problems that live between schematics and software.

You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with electrical engineers, learn to read schematics and datasheets, and see your code running on deployed systems within months of writing it.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
• 1+ years firmware or embedded software experience.
• Solid C coding ability for embedded systems.
• Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, or similar.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to export-controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Write firmware in C for microcontrollers across Connected Warfare platforms.
• Develop and integrate reusable device drivers for sensors and peripherals.
• Debug issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries using bench tools and embedded debugging techniques.
• Support board bring-up alongside the EE team — reviewing schematics and validating interfaces.
• Contribute to firmware architecture decisions as the codebase grows.
• Ship code to production systems deployed in the field.
