Job summary

Clune Construction is seeking professionals experienced in reality-capture to support UAV, photogrammetry, and LiDAR data workflows for construction projects. The role focuses on collecting aerial imagery, processing point-cloud data, and coordinating with project teams to deliver accurate as-built information.

Strong familiarity with CAD/BIM tooling and field data collection is required, along with FAA Part 107 certification.

Qualifications

• Experience with photogrammetry, LiDAR or reality-capture tech.
• Familiarity with CAD/BIM workflows.
• FAA Part 107 certification preferred.
• Construction/engineering/architecture industry exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support UAV capture activities to collect aerial imagery that meets project needs and regulatory requirements.
• Support 3D laser scanning activities to capture accurate as-built conditions and field information.
• Support point-cloud processing tasks to organize captured data for virtual construction workflows.
• Support coordination with project teams to deliver spatial data that matches project needs.
• Support point-cloud modeling tasks to produce usable project models from captured data.
• Support simple modeling tasks using point-cloud data to prepare project-ready model content.

Education

Associate of Science (AS) or an equivalent level of work experience preferred

Work Experience

Experience with photogrammetry, LiDAR, or additional reality-capture techniques Experience or interest in videography for processing needs Familiarity with CAD/BIM software and workflows Experience in construction, engineering, or architecture industries

Licenses and Certifications

FAA Part 107 certification

Salary Range

Salary Range: $66,340 - $96,204 The salary range listed reflects a broad scope of potential earnings for this position. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Please note that it is not common for candidates to be hired at the top of the range. We encourage open communication about compensation expectations during the hiring process.
