Job summary

Clune Construction Company is seeking a drone reality-capture specialist to support UAV data collection, 3D laser scanning, and point-cloud processing to inform virtual construction workflows.

The role requires familiarity with photogrammetry, LiDAR, and CAD/BIM workflows, plus FAA Part 107 certification. Experience in construction or architecture is a plus, with the opportunity for career development and competitive compensation.

Essential Skills

• Support UAV capture activities to collect aerial imagery that meets project needs and regulatory requirements.
• Support 3D laser scanning activities to capture accurate as-built conditions and field information.
• Support point-cloud processing tasks to organize captured data for virtual construction workflows.
• Support coordination with project teams to deliver spatial data that matches project needs.
• Support point-cloud modeling tasks to produce usable project models from captured data.
• Support simple modeling tasks using point-cloud data to prepare project-ready model content.
• Maintain working knowledge of FAA requirements and internal drone-safety policies during field work.
• Support logistics-visualization tasks by preparing model content for project presentations.
• Apply reality-capture and point-cloud processing methods to support field data collection.
• Support drone-operations documentation by recording required flight and data-collection information.

Education

• Associate of Science (AS) or an equivalent level of work experience preferred

Work Experience

Salary Range: $66,340 - $96,204

The salary range listed reflects a broad scope of potential earnings for this position. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Please note that it is not common for candidates to be hired at the top of the range. We encourage open communication about compensation expectations during the hiring process.
