Job summary

Haveron James is seeking a Robotics Perception Engineer to build the software that turns sensors into intelligent robots. The role focuses on owning the perception pipeline powering next-generation robots, with real-time data from RGBD cameras and LiDAR.

You will work with leadership to deploy perception systems in customer environments and improve reliability, performance, and scalability. This is an engineering role, not a research position.

Qualifications

• The perception pipeline transforms raw sensor data into reliable, real-time intelligence.
• Experience building real-time sensor pipelines for cameras and LiDAR.
• Ability to debug hardware-software interactions across robots.
• Experience deploying perception systems on robots in customer environments.
• Comfortable working across software, hardware and systems thinking.

Responsibilities

• Own the perception infrastructure powering the company's next-generation robots.
• Build and maintain the pipeline connecting sensors to intelligent robot behavior.
• Ensure sensor data is captured, validated and stored for model training.
• Debug issues across cameras, LiDAR, robotics hardware and software.
• Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of the perception stack.
