Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an engineer to design and develop the world representation layer at the core of the Axion simulation stack. You will work on 4D spatial abstractions, ECS, and high-performance data structures for multi-agent environments across air, ground, and maritime domains.

The role focuses on real-time computational geometry, optimization, and integration with sensor fusion and path planning, requiring experience with game engines, simulators, or autonomous systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience in spatial or simulation environments.
• Expert-level C++ skills (C++20 or later) with performance optimization focus.
• Experience building world or scene representations in game engines, simulators, or autonomous stacks.

Responsibilities

• Develop world and scene representation systems including ECS, spatial indexing and 4D object management.
• Own mapping and geometry pipelines between sensor data and path planning.
• Drive low-latency, cache-aware, memory-conscious design in real-time environments.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and cross-domain integration across autonomy stacks.
