Job summary

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• 1+ year software engineering or algorithm development experience.
• Experience with Java applications or another OO language.
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• Understanding of full software development lifecycle.
• Experience supporting software integration and testing.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based software for real-time tracking and algorithms.
• Implement mathematical algorithms within tactical software applications.
• Create and maintain software design documentation and artifacts.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Develop and execute automated unit tests.
• Support integration, system testing, and requirements verification.
• Investigate software behavior, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Present designs and results to stakeholders.
• Engage in Agile planning, sprint planning, and work decomposition.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, test, deployment, and operations teams.
