Brivo, Inc. is seeking a Streaming Media Engineer - Java to join the Engineering-Video team in Austin. You will contribute to real-time streaming services, collaborate within Agile delivery teams, and help deliver scalable video surveillance solutions for customers worldwide.

The role emphasizes building high-performance streaming pipelines, maintaining CI/CD workflows, and advancing our cloud-based video platform with cutting-edge codecs and transport protocols.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience building cloud-based services and applications in a CI/CD environment.
• Proficiency in languages including Java, C++, and C.
• Experience with GPU-accelerated codecs.
• Experience with network and streaming transport protocols (UDP, TCP, RTP/RTCP, RTSP).

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time streaming services and related framework for Brivo's flagship video security services and applications.
• Engineer high-performance, multi-channel streaming solutions and deliver real-time capabilities to users globally.
