Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a seasoned Software Development Engineer to help build scalable live sports infrastructure and services for Prime Video. You will design, develop, and maintain multi-tier distributed systems and collaborate with teams across Prime Video and Amazon to deliver high-quality streaming experiences to millions of customers.

The role requires strong coding skills in C#, C++, Java, or Perl, plus hands-on experience with AWS services and large-scale

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and implement multi-tier distributed services and customer experiences
• Be involved in designing, implementing, and testing of major features
• Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
• Effectively collaborate in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams in large organization for full stack development both backend as well as front end.
