Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, in Lanham, Maryland, seeks a Software/Product Developer to design and implement real-time software for a satellite command and control product, while providing project engineering support. The role focuses on developing robust real-time software for a 24/7 operation and addressing customer requirements.

The candidate will work with C++, Java, and Linux environments, plus knowledge of SDLC models, to deliver COTS product enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience coding in C++ and Java.
• Experience with multi-threaded or real-time applications.
• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of at least one software development lifecycle model.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust real-time software for a 24/7 operation system.
• Perform maintenance and bug fixes on software product.
• Analyze customer requirements to identify unmet requirements.
• Design and develop COTS product enhancements as required.
• Support of both internal and external users of satellite command and control product.
