Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Scientech in Idaho Falls is hiring a Software Development Engineer for an onsite role. You will participate in development, maintenance, and installation of software for real-time plant process monitoring for nuclear power plants.

We seek a candidate with at least 5 years in software development using C/C++/C#, plus strong experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and virtualization tooling. The position includes leading software projects and collaborating with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing software using C/C++/C#.
• 1+ years of software project lead experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
• Experience with virtualization tools (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio C/C++/C#.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, test, troubleshoot and refine system and software requirements with internal and external customers.
• Capture and specify requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prototyping.
• Design, code, test, debug, configure, maintain and document software.
• Create and/or review design documentation and test procedures.
• Integrate software into respective systems and support deployed systems.
