Job summary

Curtiss-Wright's Scientech unit in Idaho Falls seeks a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, test, and install software for real-time plant process monitoring and information systems in nuclear facilities.

You will work with C/C++/C#, lead projects, and collaborate across teams; required are a BS in Engineering or CS, 5+ years' full life-cycle software experience, and skills in Azure DevOps, Git, and virtualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience developing software using C/C++/C# and full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, troubleshoot and refine software for real-time plant process monitoring systems.
• Capture and specify requirements; conduct feasibility studies and prototyping.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document software; review design and test documentation.
• Integrate software into systems and support deployed systems by fixing issues.
• Collaborate independently and in teams; respond to customer input professionally.
