Job summary

Cboe Europe is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join the European team building and operating the real-time trading systems for one of the largest pan-European equities markets. You will own features end-to-end and work closely with business stakeholders across Europe and the US to deliver robust, low-latency solutions in a high-performance environment.

As a senior member, you will mentor engineers, contribute to design and code reviews, and help shape the future of our trading

Qualifications

• Significant experience with modern C++ (C++11+).
• Low-latency or real-time trading systems exposure is a plus.
• Experience mentoring or supporting engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and extend high-performance C++ functionality across equities environments.
• Build systems with focus on quality, testability and production readiness.
• Own features end-to-end and coordinate with engineers and stakeholders.
• Mentor other engineers and participate in interviewing candidates.
• Provide production support and diagnose complex issues; on-call as needed.
