Job summary

Cboe Global Markets, Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to combine strong engineering skills with financial quantitative analysis. You will model a diverse set of instruments and perform portfolio analysis within a team of seasoned developers and quants.

Responsibilities include developing real-time analytics software, optimizing model performance, and collaborating across data teams. A STEM bachelor’s is required, with Java/C# and C++ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java or C# with parallel/multithreaded design patterns.
• 1+ year in C++ preferred; performance-critical calculations in C/C++ and CUDA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and debug real-time financial analytics software.
• Evaluate, tune, and improve model performance, stability, and accuracy.
• Analyze market data, derived market data, and reference data.
• Collaborate with reference data, real-time data, and historical data teams.
• Provide 2nd level support for production applications and respond to customer questions.
• Write technical specifications, project plans, and documentation.
• Communicate with senior managers and technical colleagues.
• Support presales engagements with the sales team.
