Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years of C/C++ experience.
• Experience with SDLC and safety-critical/real-time software is essential.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
• Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
• Develop and maintain software development plans, verification plans, test procedures and test environments.
• Execute test procedures and document test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
• Provide technical leadership for software projects.
• Support generation and maintenance of software processes, tools and metrics.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations.
• Track and evaluate software team to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards.
• Train and mentor others.
• Work under general direction.
• Develop Vehicle Management System software supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security programs.
