Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Pipeline Controller to monitor, control, and optimize crude oil flow across the pipeline network using SCADA systems. The role supports safe, compliant operations and effective coordination of receipts, deliveries, and storage injections and withdrawals.

The ideal candidate will have experience with pipeline control functions, pressures, volumes, and control points, plus knowledge of PLC/SCADA environments and DOT safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with pipeline control functions, computer programs, and equipment applicable to pipeline system control operations.
• Experience monitoring pressures, volumes, and control points to maintain adequate Crude Oil flow.
• Experience with and thorough knowledge of Crude Oil pipeline operations.
• Experience in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including computers.
• Experience and/or training related to: basic programming/computer applications and hardware/SCADA systems.
• Experience compiling and preparing reports, logs, and correspondence.
• Experience interacting, advising, training and communicating effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and optimize crude oil flow through pipeline, gathering, storage, transmission, and processing systems.
• Use SCADA and other control tech to analyze real-time conditions, forecast demand, and coordinate receipts/deliveries.
• Communicate with field personnel, schedulers, customers, and other pipeline operators.
• Coordinate field activities and manage transportation imbalances; support emergency response.
• Train employees in performance of duties related to system operations.
