Job summary

ASRC Federal Mission Solutions is seeking a Software Integration & Test Engineer to support development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ.

You will perform system-level software integration and testing in a lab environment, and assist with automated regression tests using Python. Responsibilities include troubleshooting across distributed components, loading software, and collaborating with engineers in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in software integration, system test, or software engineering.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Basic Python or scripting proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of system architecture and inter-subsystem message flows in distributed pub/sub environments.
• Execute system-level integration test procedures from documented software requirements.
• Identify, document, and retest integration defects; collect logs, traces and diagnostic data.
• Support automated regression tests using Python or similar scripting languages.
• Assist in troubleshooting integration issues under guidance from senior engineers.
• Support software loading and integration of subsystem builds within laboratory equipment suites.
• Maintain laboratory system operability and readiness during integration and test activities.
