ASRC Federal Mission Solutions in Moorestown, NJ seeks a Software Integration & Test Engineer to support the Navy Aegis Weapons System. You will perform system-level integration testing in a lab, troubleshoot distributed components, and develop automation in Python.

The role requires hands-on work with live systems, gray-box analysis, and collaboration with software engineers and systems teams in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in software integration, system test, or software engineering in a structured, configuration-controlled environment.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed software systems in Linux/Unix environments.
• Ability to read and analyze production software code written in C/C++, Java, or similar languages to support integration troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop understanding of system architecture and inter-subsystem message flows in distributed pub/sub environments.
• Develop and execute system-level integration test procedures from requirements and document outcomes.
• Read production code to support integration troubleshooting and gray-box validation.
• Identify, isolate, reproduce, document, and retest integration defects with logs and traces.
• Develop automated regression tests using Python and analyze failures to determine root cause.
• Develop utilities or tools to enhance testing, automation, and diagnostics.
• Install, configure, load, and integrate subsystem software builds into lab equipment and run tests with hardware and simulators.
• Maintain laboratory operability and provide hands-on support during integration and test activities.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate laboratory resources for testing.
• Collaborate with software developers and systems engineers in a controlled environment.
• Support integration events and testing outside standard business hours.
