Job summary

Expedia Group in the United States is seeking a hands-on ML Engineer to design and operate scalable batch and real-time ML pipelines for advertising delivery and optimization, and to operationalize models developed by ML scientists.

You will integrate models with ad delivery, bidding, ranking, and campaign management systems, build data pipelines for large-scale ad impressions, and mentor teammates while raising engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of industry experience with machine learning or data-driven systems.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with Spark, SQL, or similar data pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control, testing, and basic system design.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with production ML systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ML pipelines for advertising delivery and optimization.
• Operationalize ML models developed by data scientists.
• Integrate models with ad delivery, bidding, ranking, and campaign management systems.
• Build data pipelines for large-scale ad impressions, clicks, and conversions.
• Partner with product, engineering, analytics, and business teams.
• Enable low-latency inference and real-time decisioning for millions of users.
• Develop reusable components, APIs, and orchestration workflows.
• Lead continuous optimization through monitoring and alerting.
