Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an MES & Ignition Developer to design and implement real-time dashboards and reporting for manufacturing operations.

You will transform data from Siemens OpCenter into actionable insights using Ignition, working with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and IT teams. In this role you will build plant-floor dashboards, automate production reporting, and create reliable integrations with MES data sources, enabling visibility into OEE, throughput, downtime, and

Qualifications

• Experience with Inductive Automation Ignition, Perspective and/or Vision.
• Experience with Ignition Reporting, alarming, notifications, or related module.
• Strong SQL skills, relational databases.
• Python/Jython scripting experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing metrics (OEE, throughput, downtime, quality).
• Experience integrating with MES or production systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design real-time Ignition dashboards for plant-floor operators and leadership.
• Automate daily production, quality, and downtime reporting.
• Configure alerts for production events and faults.
• Integrate Ignition with Siemens OpCenter and data sources.
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, data models.
• Write Python/Jython scripts for automation.
• Design high-visibility industrial interfaces.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
• Monitor and maintain Ignition environment.
• Troubleshoot data, app, and integration issues.
• Support scaling of Harbinger's manufacturing tech.
