Job summary

Amcor is seeking a skilled engineer to design, develop, and sustain the plant-level Ignition MES platform. You will own the Ignition environment, from gateways to version control, and connect machines, materials, quality, and business systems into a single trusted data source.

This role requires hands-on Ignition development, Python scripting, and strong SQL skills. You will build MES capabilities across value streams and support production KPIs and continuous improvement through dashboards and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, development, deployment, and lifecycle support of the plant Ignition environment.
• Design and build plant-level MES functionality across value streams with consistent standards.
• Develop production scheduling, run data, downtime, scrap, and OEE/EEF screens and dashboards.
