Job summary

HBK is seeking a passionate Real-time Software Engineer to develop, enhance, validate, and support RedHawk real-time Linux kernels and tools, for both Intel/AMD servers and ARM64 embedded modules.

You will also work on the KVM-RT real-time virtualization engine to ensure deterministic latency, plus occasional performance analysis, benchmarking, release engineering, and security hardening.

Qualifications

• Good foundations in C and C++
• Familiarity with Bash scripting and Linux in general
• Classwork and/or knowledge of operating system fundamentals, including virtualization

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, validate, and support RedHawk real-time Linux kernels and tools for Intel/AMD servers and ARM64 embedded modules
• Develop, enhance, validate, and support KVM-RT real-time virtualization engine to ensure determinism and low latencies
• Periodically work on performance analysis, benchmarking, release engineering, security hardening, and QA
