Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years in a technical discipline or 10 years across multiple disciplines
• Experience designing, developing and integrating real-time simulation systems in HIL environments
• Proficiency with Simulink for model development and integration
• Experience using Python for automated test scripts and lab tools
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft and simulation drawings
• Hands-on experience with interfaces (ARINC 429, ARINC 664, RS-485)
• Clear communication in English

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate real-time simulation systems with aircraft hardware and software in HIL environments
• Build and integrate Simulink models for simulation and lab testing
• Connect analog, discrete, data bus, and Ethernet interfaces with aircraft controllers and third-party platforms
• Create automated test scripts and lab utilities using Python
• Interpret aircraft and simulation electrical drawings to guide integration
• Support test engineers by addressing requests for new functionality
• Plan and coordinate engineering work within schedule and cost objectives
• Improve lab processes and stay current with simulation and aircraft-system developments
