Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA is seeking a Lab Test Simulation Integration Engineer to design and integrate real-time simulation systems with aircraft hardware and software in Hardware-in-the-Loop environments. The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, complex technical challenges, and collaboration with test engineers.

You will build Simulink models, connect analog and digital interfaces, and develop automated test scripts in Python, ensuring reliable lab operations and high-quality product

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 5 years in a specific technical discipline or 10 years broad engineering experience.
• Experience designing, developing and integrating real‑time simulation systems with aircraft hardware/software in HIL environments.
• Proficiency with Simulink for model development and integration.
• Experience using Python to develop automated test scripts or lab utilities.
• Ability to interpret aircraft and simulation electrical drawings.
• Hands‑on experience integrating analog, discrete, data bus, and Ethernet interfaces with aircraft controllers.
• Knowledge of ARINC 429, ARINC 664, and RS-485.
• Clear communication and customer‑facing lab skills.
• English language reading, writing, speaking.
