Job summary

DCS Corp in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and test GUI applications using OpenGL and C/C++ for real-time visualization and system control. The role focuses on integrating software with RF hardware and external interfaces, working with a DoD program team.

You will collaborate with hardware, RF, and test engineers to ensure robust, high-performance software that meets stringent Navy engineering standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/EE or related field; 5+ years experience.
• Security clearance eligibility required.
• 3–8+ years of software development with C/C++.
• Experience designing OpenGL-based GUIs.
• Experience with OpenGL GLSL/DirectX or modern rendering pipelines.
• Strong Microsoft Visual Studio experience.
• Experience integrating software with RF systems or external hardware.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, HP-IB/GPIB, USB, SCPI interfaces.
• Git version control proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GUI apps using OpenGL, C/C++, in Visual Studio.
• Develop interfaces communicating with external RF hardware via SCPI/USB/ Ethernet.
• Implement data visualization, signal monitoring, and control modules.
• Collaborate with systems, RF, test, and hardware engineers.
• Optimize GUI performance for real-time responsiveness and reliability.
• Document designs, interface specifications, and test procedures.
• Participate in code reviews and software configuration management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and integration issues.
• Support lab tests and customer design reviews as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Navy SETR and DoDI 5000.02.
