Job summary

DCS Corp is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement GUI applications using OpenGL and C/C++ in a DoD-focused program. You will build interfaces to RF hardware, optimize real-time rendering, and collaborate across hardware, RF, and test teams.

Applicants should have a strong background in OpenGL GUI development, GLSL or DirectX, and Visual Studio, with experience integrating software with external systems. U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in software development.
• Experience with C/C++ and OpenGL GUI development.
• Experience integrating software with RF systems or external hardware interfaces.
• Experience with TCP/IP, UDP, HP-IB/GPIB, USB, SCPI or similar protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio and version control tools (Git).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced engineering environment and across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement GUI applications using OpenGL, C/C++, and Visual Studio for real-time visualization and system control.
• Develop and validate software interfaces communicating with external RF systems and hardware via standard protocols.
• Implement data visualization, signal monitoring, and control modules per system requirements.
• Collaborate with systems, RF, test, and hardware engineers to define communication protocols.
• Optimize GUI performance for real-time responsiveness and rendering efficiency.
• Create and maintain software documentation and test procedures.
• Participate in code reviews, system integration events, and software configuration management.
• Troubleshoot defects and interface issues; support lab testing and customer design reviews.
