Job summary

Fox News Media is seeking a Real-Time Graphics Artist to join the team in a fast-paced newsroom. You will create Vizrt graphics and templates for real-time production, script scenes, and work with art directors to refine design concepts. You’ll optimize workflows and troubleshoot issues across the graphics platform.

You must have strong HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills, experience with Maya/Cinema 4D, and a solid Adobe Creative Suite background, with a portfolio to showcase your work.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years in a Broadcast Television environment with Vizrt apps incl. Artist/Engine, Content Pilot, Trio.
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of Adobe Creative Suite products.
• Knowledge of Maya and/or Cinema 4D.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science or Graphics discipline (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Create Vizrt graphics and templates for real-time graphics production.
• Script scenes and templates.
• Work with Art Directors to refine design concepts.
• Contribute to optimizing control room and producer workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues with real-time graphics platforms.
• Design and develop HTML front end interfaces.
• Create reusable UI/UX code libraries.
• Operate in a fast-paced News and Business environment.
• Collaborate with artists and end-users to deploy graphics solutions to production teams.
