Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is hiring a MTS Software Development Engineer to research, design, develop, and optimize low-level GPU driven graphics technology. The role involves working with internal and external partners to integrate, analyze, and optimize gaming technologies, using ML and low-level APIs to write efficient shaders for real-time graphics.

The candidate will apply expertise in C/C++, HLSL, and modern graphics standards such as DirectX and Vulkan to maximize performance across PC

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.
• Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent and five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and optimize low-level GPU driven graphics technology.
• Collaborate with internal and external graphics and gaming technology partners to integrate and optimize AMD gaming technologies.
• Write efficient shaders using Machine Learning technologies and low level graphics APIs to power real-time graphics processing.
