Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Gas Controller in Cleveland, Ohio to manage daily natural gas operations and ensure safe, reliable pipeline performance. You will monitor SCADA systems, control pressures, respond to alarms, and coordinate with field teams and suppliers to execute the daily plan.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience or more if lacking a technical diploma, plus strong data interpretation and communication skills for quick, accurate decision-making under pressure.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma/associate degree in engineering technology, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year related experience; 3+ years if no diploma.
• Understanding of natural gas operations and regulatory requirements (FERC or others).
• Ability to interpret data, detect anomalies, and apply problem-solving under changing conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork; able to work independently or with others.
• Must live within 60 minutes of the Cleveland office.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily natural gas operations to meet pipeline system requirements safely.
• Monitor valves, regulators, compressors, pressures, and gas flows via SCADA.
• Respond to alarms and adjust system pressures; notify field personnel as needed.
• Direct field personnel during repairs, outages, and emergency operations.
• Analyze gas-control data, coordinate nominations with suppliers/storage, execute daily plan.
• Maintain records and comply with Control Room requirements; liaise with teams and partners.
