NRG Energy seeks a Real-Time Dispatcher to manage live operational execution across PJM, NYISO, and ISO-NE. You will coordinate with traders, plant teams, and operators to optimize unit dispatch and respond to market conditions in real time.

Ideal candidates will have strong situational awareness, decisive judgment under time pressure, and excellent written and spoken communication. The role requires a rotating 24-hour schedule and energy market familiarity.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent military experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; equivalent experience may suffice.

Aufgaben

• Operate live in PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE markets with dispatch and optimization.
• Coordinate with Day-Ahead traders and schedulers, plant and field personnel.
• Maintain shift logs and provide clear handoffs and compliance documentation.
• Escalate compliance, reliability, operational, or risk concerns as needed.
• Complete required training and obtain PJM/NERC certifications within specified timelines.
