TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America, Inc. is seeking a Real-Time Power Trader/Dispatcher with at least 3 years of experience to execute trading strategies for power assets and manage real-time risk.

The role involves monitoring SCADA/EMS, market analysis, and coordinating with the Optimization team. 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation are required, with Excel data analysis and stakeholder collaboration at the core.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Foundational understanding of NA power, commodity and financial trading, and risk management with trading/analytical track record.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation.

Responsibilities

• Execute real-time asset-backed trading for power assets managed by Total.
• Monitor SCADA/EMS systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Identify and capture market opportunities via real-time position management and market analysis.
• Maximize asset-backed revenue through economic dispatch and operational excellence.
• Submit bids to ancillary services markets as directed by the Optimization team.
• Collect, query, and analyze large datasets in Excel and present findings.
• Prioritize deliverables and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Build and maintain relationships with market participants and ISO operators.
