Job summary
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth is seeking a Software Engineer to lead the design, development, test and integration of real-time, embedded display software for F-35 Pilot Systems, Multi-Function Display and Helmet Mounted Display teams. This role uses C++ and OpenGL in an Agile environment to deliver flight-critical software that meets stringent safety and performance standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related major.
- C++ experience.
- Python experience.
- Unix/Linux experience.
- Design Patterns, Programming to an Interface.
- Experience with large real time embedded software development.
- Agile/Scrum Development experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead in the design, development, test and integration of real-time, embedded display software for F-35 Pilot Systems, MFD and HMD Teams.
- Develop in C++ and OpenGL using an agile methodology.
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver flight-critical software and support integration and test activities.
