Job summary

eSOL is seeking a System Software Developer to join our core innovation team. You will work on real-time distributed microkernel eMCOS, middleware, device drivers, and graphics stack support, contributing to a scalable OS used in robots, autonomous systems, and automotive applications.

The role covers the full software development lifecycle with emphasis on low-level OS concepts, performance, and robustness. Optional duties include customer support and porting open-source components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong C programming skills in constrained environments.
• Knowledge of POSIX-based OS architectures.
• Ability to understand complex systems and debug effectively.
• Good communication, both written and verbal.
• Self-directed with the ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from design to implementation.
• Improve performance and robustness of OS-related components.
• Provide technical support to customers and port open-source components such as Qt or ROS when needed.
• Contribute to the continuous integration infrastructure.
