The ideal candidate has a BS in a technical field and 3+ years in embedded Java, with experience in Agile, TDD, and understanding of low-level hardware interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems and Java.
• Must reside within Georgia and attend on-site meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based embedded firmware solutions using Agile methodologies.
• Interact with low-level hardware components (sensors, actuators, communication protocols).
• Estimate embedded solutions and collaborate across hardware, systems engineering, and support teams.
• Ensure timing and performance requirements are met and assist in sustaining Gen5 firmware.
