Qualifications

• Experience with open architectures and standards such as OpenVPX, SOSA, HOST, OMS/UCI, etc.
• Embedded software/hardware development for FPGA, microcontrollers, embedded Linux, RTOS.
• Knowledge of computer architectures related to embedded hardware and comms standards.
• Familiarity with MBSE and SysML for systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and develop software applications to meet requirements.
• Supervise lower‑level researchers and students.
• Follow embedded software development processes and verify adherence.
• Contribute to research reports, white papers, and proposals.
• Provide level of effort estimates for tasks.
• Develop and maintain software/scripts for embedded development.
