Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Data & Analytics Lead to define, implement and support Enterprise Aveva PI Data and analytics capabilities. This role partners with operations experts to design real-time data ingestion, modeling, visualization and integration across systems.

You will guide cross-functional teams on data architecture, quality, and analytics strategy, developing insights with statistical and predictive methods and ensuring secure, scalable data solutions for OT and IT/OT environments.

Qualifications

• Seven years of related functional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Business or related field, or 4 years of experience equivalent to the position.
• Excellent problem solving, data acumen, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated experience with distributed computing, data visualization, data architecture and structure, statistical modeling, and predictive modeling.
• Experience with machine learning.
• Experience designing, developing and delivering reporting solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend BI solutions to fulfill complex business requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with cross-organizational experience.

Responsibilities

• Analytics and Reporting: data exploration, identify opportunities, provide actionable recommendations.
• Consultation: drive adoption of standard tools and ensure sound data management practices.
• Capability Maturity: automate core data functions and collaborate with stakeholders on analytics capabilities.
