Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Senior Data Analytics leader to drive the analytics and reporting function for Customer Energy and Transportation Solutions. You will manage a team delivering insights, regulatory and portfolio reporting, and data management practices to support business strategy and informed decisions.

You will partner with business, technology, and enterprise data teams to prioritize needs, improve data quality, and scale analytics capabilities, while guiding governance and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, statistics, computer science, business, economics, engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Seven years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data science, data engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, projects, or cross‑functional initiatives and translating complex data into actionable business insights.
• Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, project management, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence decision‑making across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders, functional teams, technology organizations, and enterprise data groups to understand needs, prioritize investments, manage cross‑functional initiatives, and increase adoption of data and analytics capabilities.
• Establish and execute the analytics and data science roadmap in alignment with strategic and operational priorities, overseeing descriptive, predictive, and forward-looking analyses.
• Lead, develop, and prioritize the work of analytics and data support professionals, setting goals and managing delivery roadmap.
• Lead the development and delivery of recurring, portfolio-level, regulatory, operational, and marketing performance reporting with improved accuracy and usability.
• Oversee business‑unit data requirements, reporting datasets, and scalable data solutions, while guiding governance and data quality initiatives.
