The Role

Our client is seeking a consultant to support a Canadian clean energy infrastructure company's transition from strategy to hands‑on implementation, focused on:

• Standardizing asset data governance within AVEVA PI
• Building a real-time gas storage capacity model integrating engineering and operational data

This is a highly execution‑oriented role with strong cross‑functional exposure across Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and IT. The consultant will serve as the primary day‑to‑day implementation lead.

Duration

7 months, with potential to extend

Commitment

5 days/week, with monthly travel

Qualifications and Candidate Background

• 4+ years of management consulting experience OR equivalent experience in energy operations, data analytics, or operational technology roles
• Demonstrated energy sector experience (midstream, gas storage, pipelines, or asset‑intensive operations preferred)
• Strong experience building and validating data models using operational or industrial datasets

Nice to Have

• Experience with AVEVA PI (OSIsoft PI) or similar industrial data historians
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Power BI, or advanced Excel
