As a Software Development Manager on the Amazon Connect team, you’ll help establish teams developing new systems from scratch, coordinating feature development across teams and aligning with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• 5+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical strategy, design, development, deployment, and operations for new and existing AWS services working alongside Amazon Connect.
• Lead and mentor multiple software engineers.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define product vision, roadmap, and create impactful solutions.
• Build and grow high-performing teams.
• Drive architectural decisions for large-scale, highly available cloud services.
• Ensure operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage multiple concurrent programs and projects in an intrapreneurial environment.
• Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and technical excellence.
• Solve complex challenges that RealTimeCommunications organization faces today through innovative use of cloud and AI technologies.
