Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Surveillance Operator to monitor camera feeds in real time and respond quickly to security alerts. The role includes dispatching officers, documenting events, and maintaining strict confidentiality in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• : 2+ years of experience in security monitoring, CCTV operations, or dispatching.

Responsibilities

• Active Camera Monitoring: Continuously monitor multiple live camera feeds to detect suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches in real time
• Alarm Alert Clearing: Receive, assess, verify, and clear security alarms according to established protocols while maintaining accurate records of all events
• Dispatching: Coordinate and dispatch security officers, maintenance teams, emergency services, or other responders as needed using radio, phone or dispatch systems
• Incident Command: Assume incident command for security events until relieved by higher authority; provide clear direction, gather critical information and coordinate response efforts
• Document all incidents, alarms, dispatches and actions taken in the incident management system with accuracy and attention to detail
• Maintain constant communication with field teams, supervisors and other departments
• Identify and report system malfunctions, camera outages, or technical issues to the appropriate support team
• Follow all standard operating procedures, post orders and emergency response protocols
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times while handling sensitive security information
