Job summary
Torc Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Mission Interface Software Engineer to deliver vehicle-intent software for autonomous trucks.
You will build real-time C++ components, work with Mission Control, Remote Assistance, and Route Advisor, and ensure end-to-end integration with perception, controls, and safety teams. You will mentor peers, drive software quality, and contribute to safety‑critical development practices while staying current with research in route planning and machine learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related technical field with strong software fundamentals.
- Experience with real‑time, safety‑critical, or high‑performance applications is essential.
- Strong C++14/17+ programming skills required with embedded context.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize software interfacing Autonomy with Mission Control and other subsystems.
- Lead real-time C++ software development for vehicle guidance and status monitoring.
- Translate system requirements into robust software architectures and verification artifacts.
