Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Software Engineer for the Core Data team to build and optimize the on-vehicle data capture, storage, and retrieval infrastructure powering autonomous driving.

You will work on high-speed data pipelines, multithreaded systems, and real-time constraints, collaborating across engineering, hardware, and operations to deliver reliable data foundations for fleet data workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ and multithreading/concurrency.
• Ability to investigate issues across multiple software and hardware layers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture and implementation of Zoox's on-vehicle data systems.
• Design and develop high-performance, real-time data capture, storage, retrieval, and transmission components.
• Own complex problems from investigation through design, validation, and rollout.
