Our AmLaw 100 client is hiring a mid-level associate to join a high-performing real estate platform handling JV structures, financing, acquisitions, and dispositions across major asset classes. The team is nationally ranked and active across U.S. gateway markets and globally.
Role Summary
- Lead and support joint ventures, senior/mezz financings, acquisitions, and dispositions for office, multifamily, industrial, retail, and hospitality assets.
- Draft and negotiate JV agreements, loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and related equity and debt documentation.
- Work directly with sponsors, lenders, funds, and REITs on complex, multi-entity structures.
- Collaborate across offices on capital markets and portfolio-level transactions.
Candidate Profile
- 4–6 years of real estate transactional experience from a top firm.
- Substantial experience in at least two of the following: JV structuring, borrower or lender-side finance, acquisitions, dispositions.
- Comfortable running workstreams, negotiating primary documents, and coordinating diligence.
- DC bar admission or ability to obtain promptly.
