Job summary

Advocates Legal Recruiting represents an AmLaw 100 client in Washington, DC, seeking a mid-level Real Estate Ventures and Finance Associate to handle JV structures, financings, acquisitions, and dispositions across major asset classes.

The role offers exposure to sponsors, lenders, funds, and REITs on complex multi-entity deals, with cross-office collaboration and a hybrid work schedule aligned to firm policy.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of real estate transactional experience from a top firm.
• Substantial experience in at least two of: JV structuring, borrower or lender-side finance, acquisitions, dispositions.
• Comfortable running workstreams, negotiating primary documents, and coordinating diligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support joint ventures, senior/mezz financings, acquisitions, and dispositions for various asset classes.
• Draft and negotiate JV agreements, loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, and related equity and debt documents.
• Work directly with sponsors, lenders, funds, and REITs on complex multi-entity structures.
• Collaborate across offices on capital markets and portfolio-level transactions.
