Job summary

Plante Moran in Chicago seeks a real estate valuation analyst to support valuation and analytics for a diverse client base, including businesses, estates, trusts, and family offices. You will help produce insights for financial reporting, tax planning and advisory matters, exercising data-driven judgment.

You will collaborate with transaction advisory and risk/ accounting teams, develop valuation reports, and contribute to client solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with real estate valuation and analytics for a diverse range of clients.
• Collaborate with other consulting teams including transaction advisory services and risk advisory & accounting services.
• Prepare real estate appraisals on a variety of property types (residential, multifamily, industrial, retail, etc.).
• Research market and property data from multiple databases.
• Develop valuation reports from start to finish and communicate conclusions to clients.
• Participate in all phases of engagement including client interviews and site inspections.
