• Pursuing a JD, LLM, or Master’s degree in Taxation.
• Academic success with GPA 3.0+.
• Coursework or interest in tax research, writing, or controversy matters preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with National Tax Office professionals on emerging tax developments and controversy matters to support organizations through evolving tax environments and IRS interactions.
• Dive into technical issues, translating concepts into practical guidance for clients.
• Researchers and draft memoranda; draft private letter ruling requests and proactive planning for future positions.
• Assist with internal tax alerts on current developments, controversy topics, and planning techniques.
• Engage with staff at all levels and with clients to deepen knowledge of tax law and controversy.
