Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Director for its Corporate Finance & Restructuring real estate valuation practice in the United States. The role focuses on market value analyses, appraisals, cash flow modeling and expert reports for diverse clients.

You will lead data-driven engagements, coordinate with clients and financial institutions, and leverage Argus Enterprise and Microsoft Excel. Travel to sites is required; licensing and MAI designation are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting and/or Economics.
• State Certified General Real Estate Appraisal license.
• MAI designation or desire to pursue this designation.
• Experience in Argus Enterprise and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to travel to clients and to FTI offices as needed.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection and analysis of data to formulate an opinion of market value for real estate assets.
• Perform research and analyses related to operating performance, market analysis and valuation of real estate properties.
• Understand and utilize company research services including CoStar and CompStak.
• Review source documents for cash flow assumptions and projections.
• Apply business, economics, finance and accounting skills to client situations and disciplines.
• Synthesize large data sets for complex properties/portfolios.
• Prepare complex cash flow projections using MS Excel and Argus.
• Prepare expert, rebuttal and USPAP-compliant appraisal reports and reviews.
