Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Director in the Real Estate Solution Group to lead valuation services, provide market analysis, and deliver comprehensive reports for diverse client needs in the United States. The role emphasizes deep technical knowledge, data synthesis, and collaboration across advisory teams.

The position requires advanced credentials (MAI or similar), experience with Argus and Excel, and the ability to travel to client sites and FTI offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Finance, Real Estate, or Economics and/or related disciplines.
• State Certified General Real Estate Appraisal license or equivalent credential.
• MAI designation or intent to pursue MAI.
• Experience using Argus Enterprise and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI offices as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and analyzing data to form opinions on market value of real estate assets for various uses.
• Research and analyze operating performance and valuation of real estate investments and development projects.
• Utilize research resources such as CoStar and CompStak.
• Review source documents to develop cash flow assumptions and projections.
• Apply finance, economics and accounting skills to real estate valuation and financial modeling tasks.
• Synthesize large datasets related to complex properties/portfolios.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts using MS Excel and Argus.
• Produce summaries and reports for clients and FTI management.
• Prepare expert and appraisal review reports in compliance with USPAP.
