Job summary

AccessHR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Transactions Attorney to join its Real Estate and Land Use practice.

The ideal candidate will handle commercial and residential development, entitlements, and complex transactional matters for a diverse client base including home-builders and commercial developers. The role covers drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts, leases, development agreements, and related loan documents across commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, with focus on

Qualifications

JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
3 years of real estate transactions, commercial development, or land use experience.
Active Virginia State Bar member; Maryland or Pennsylvania a plus.

Responsibilities

Draft, negotiate, and interpret purchase/sale contracts and leases for various projects.
Represent clients in securing development approvals and zoning verifications.
Oversee due diligence, title reviews, and proffer analyses for land development.
Draft and interpret HOA/POA governing documents for properties.
Advise on emerging real estate issues including data centers and hospitality developments.
