This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients and drive sophisticated real estate deals, with ownership in building a thriving practice. The position emphasizes contract drafting, review, and negotiation, with exposure to acquisitions, title matters, and leasing.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in Ohio (good standing).
• 2–8 years real estate transaction experience.
• Strong academics, communication, analytical/research/writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail; manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Client-first mindset and interest in business development.
• Onsite role with occasional local travel.

Responsibilities

• Entity formation, selection, and structuring
• Contract drafting, review, negotiation
• Commercial and retail leasing (draft/review/interpret)
• Real estate acquisitions/dispositions and title matters
• Review ALTA surveys, title commitments/policies, and due diligence
• Support title review and closing matters
• Exposure to commercial finance/lending (borrower and/or lender) and M&A as applicable
