Job summary

White & Case LLP is seeking a senior associate to support real estate transactions and related disputes in New York. The role focuses on handling complex tasks under partner supervision, with opportunities to contribute to negotiations and strategy discussions.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of post-qualification experience, strong research and drafting skills, and excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a specialized area of law, typically with 3 - 5 years of practice post qualification.
• Excellent research, drafting and analytical skills.
• Solid communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports in various aspects of transaction preparation, including conducting legal research, drafting filings, and other related documents such as term sheets and purchase agreements.
• Assists in developing transactions strategies by analyzing legal issues and contributing to strategy discussions with senior lawyers.
• Coordinates various aspects of transaction processes, manages timelines, and ensures that all necessary steps are completed efficiently.
• Manages case files, organizing case materials and ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
• Helps coach and develop more junior lawyers, may coordinate work of junior team members.
